This Headboard is the only piece that John has completely constructed; it is not a reused piece of furniture.  It resides in a NYC apartment.  It is painted with acrylic paint and oil stain and the colors were formed to complement the bedroom’s colors and decor.  It includes an increased use of gold leaf and note the glass knobs added to the two portals.
