Reagan National Airport, Washington DC

At the time of this project the airport was still called 'National'.  John acted as director for all pre-design activities for the renovation of the existing prewar terminal and addition of the new multi-million sf terminal.  Work included coordination with all consultants, which included traffic, way finding, historical, and structural engineers, among others.  This was John’s first affiliation with the architect, Cesar Pelli. (Now Pelli Clark Pelli Architects.)
