 Serving Trays

This 'Warrior' Serving Tray was found in the trash before being rescued. It is called the 'warrior tray' for the New Zealand Maoris inspired designs depicted on it. Note that this tray (as well as the next tray shown adjacent) have designs painted on both sides and can readily be used  for display and for traditional serving. Completed in acrylic and India ink marker.

(approx. dimensions: 21" x 14" wide x 2" tall)

Kathryn's Tray was commissioned by the owner.  The owner who enjoys traveling to India asked for a serving tray inspired by the design and colors found in that country.  The top center panel is taken from a Hermes scarf design while the surrounding colors are commonly found on Indian 'tuk-tuk' vehicles.   The back side design is inspired from India's Raj temples and palaces. See the picture the owner sent of her tray in use in her home. Completed in acrylic and small amounts of gold leaf.
